We have been making bespoke wooden chopping boards for many years now and this style of chopping board is an example of the high-quality bespoke kitchen boards we produce in our UK workshop, by hand, to order. Each piece of timber is hand-cut and assembled, by eye, one at a time, building up the layers of the chopping board. Once constructed, these stunning bespoke wooden chopping boards are repeatedly hand-sanded and finished with multiple coats of water, heat and alcohol-resistant oil.

These stunning and durable personalised hardwood stripe chopping boards are built to last. There are lots of options to add to make the board unique to you. Side cutout handles, surface grooves, engraved lettering and carving work. All natural food safe oil:
All of our wooden chopping boards are treated with several coats of all natural Vegan rated food safe chopping board oil. There is nothing harmful in our oils, no hardeners or solvents, no bi-products, just 100% non-toxic natural plant based oils. Meaning our chopping boards are perfectly safe to use and we would have it no other way. This does mean aftercare and regular oiling is essential to keep your chopping board protected.
Personalisation:
These multi-coloured chopping boards come with no engraving as standard. You can add this to either side of the board. We will engrave your chosen lettering along the longest sides of the board. You can choose to have engraved on either 1 or 2 sides, perfect for family names and dates. Character quantities increase as you go larger in board size. You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs.
We can also engrave a secret or personal message for you on the underside of your chopping board, making it that little bit extra special. Something like a reading from your wedding day, a favourite poem or quote, something witty, your family’s favourite recipe or just something secret you don’t want anyone else to see – but you know it’s there.

We can make multi-coloured chopping boards to any size – within reason. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us to discuss your requirements if you want something bespoke-made.
Dimensions & Personalised engraving quantities:
Small: 4cm x 20cm x 30cm (1.5” x 8” x 12”) ~ up to 20 characters per side.
Large: 4cm x 25cm x 40cm (1.5” x 10” x 16”) ~ up to 30 characters per side.
XLarge: 4cm x 30cm x 50cm (1.5” x 12” x 20”) ~ up to 40 characters per side.

Important information:
Please be aware that the stripes can run either horizontally or vertically along the length of the board (The main image shows the stripes running vertically along the length). If you have a preference, you can tell us which you would prefer at the time of order. The colours and layers will not be the same as the main image, they will vary hugely in design and layout. The stripes of timber will also vary in size and colour – please bear in mind that timber is a natural product and we cannot guarantee the colours to be identical throughout the board. We will, of course, do our very best to make these boards look as beautiful as possible.
Please Note:
All engravings are in capitals. For lower case lettering, this can be requested at the time of order. Please add this to the note section at checkout or you can contact us via email or phone. All sizes are approximate. Please be aware that the chopping board’s timber colour from the Padauk can run. Please ensure, that after use or cleaning, you wipe the board down thoroughly with a cloth or rag. The rag will likely be stained with some colour. We will supply the chopping board with rubber feet to prevent the board from touching the worktop.
