Just like our personalised wooden chopping boards, our personalised wooden bread boards are constructed from the same highly prized timber, English Oak or American Black Walnut. Both timbers are of exceptional quality. We put together each one of our engraved wooden bread boards from scratch to order in our UK workshop with considerable care and attention to detail, completely by hand. Our wood bread boards are extremely tough and durable and have a beautiful tactile feel.
Ther are 2 sizes availble and 2 different thicknesses. Both board sizes can be personalised with your own engraved message on 1 or 2 sides.

The Crumb Catcher:
Incorporating a cleverly designed crumb catcher, made up of nine deep, accurately cut grooves in the board surface, you can cut your loaf of bread while your oak breadboard collects the crumbs in the channels, reducing mess. Then when you are done, you simply lift, tilt the board and empty the crumb into the bin or store it for later use – simple!

Just like our personalised wooden chopping boards, these personalised wooden breadboards are constructed from the same highly prized superior hardwoods namely English oak locally sourced from our nearby sawmill and American Black Walnut. Both timbers are of exceptional quality.
We put together each one of our engraved wooden breadboards from scratch to order in our Surrey Hills workshop with considerable care and attention to detail, completely by hand. The wood breadboards are extremely tough and durable and have a beautiful tactile feel.
Custom Options:
Our Engraved Wooden Bread Boards are available to buy in two different thicknesses, as well as two standard sizes to suit you and your kitchen. You can choose to have the crumb-catching grooves run the whole length of the board or only run half way up the board surface, giving you one area to cut your bread and another perfectly flat area for preparing your sandwiches.
Side handles are available on all sizes. And lastly, you have the option of adding a useful locally sourced, handmade, high quality, butter dish. (only available on the 4.5cm thick boards) Made from an extremely durable VirtriMax glazed high fired stoneware. It is safe for dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer use. This is set into the corner of the board and is perfect for butter or Jam which you can remove and put back into the fridge when you are finished.

All natural food safe oil:
All of our wooden kitchen boards are treated with several coats of all natural Vegan rated food safe chopping board oil. There is nothing harmful in our oils, no hardeners or solvents, no bi-products, just 100% non-toxic natural plant based oils. Meaning our chopping boards are perfectly safe to use and we would have it no other way. This does mean aftercare and regular oiling is essential to keep your board protected.
Personalisation your Bread Board:
Our stunning personalised wooden bread boards are available blank or can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering. Side 1 in included in the price, however, if you need further engraving, you can add further engraved text to side 2. Ideal for names and dates, a thoughtful message or unique inscription. You can also add carved symbols like hearts, stars and other engraved motifs like zodiac signs.
We can also engrave a secret or personal message for you on the underside, making your wooden bread board that little bit extra special. Something like a reading from your wedding day, a favourite poem or quote, something witty or just something secret you don’t want anyone else to see – but you know it’s there.
