Removable Oak Dowels:
This oak tool rack comes with a line of perfectly cut holes along the bottom edge of the rack – 21 of them. It comes with 10 solid oak dowels to be positioned strategically to accommodate your collection of tools. As your tools change or grow, you simply move the dowel to suit – simple!
Fixing Your Wooden Garden Tool Wall Rack:
Our Engraved Oak tool racks come fitted with our invisible screw head fixings – so no screws or fittings on display. All you need is two screws in the wall and it will hang securely.
Garden Tool Rack Timber Finish:
As with everything we do here at Make Me Something Special, we have spent the time researching and sourcing the perfect materials available. Each oak tool rack is handmade from one piece of Air Dried Superior Grade English Oak. This Timber is perfectly seasoned and adjusted for outdoor conditions. You can choose to leave your wooden tool rack untreated, finished in Superior Danish Oil or our low-maintenance Diamond Coating finish. If you choose untreated your product will weather to a pale silver more quickly. Danish Oil will not only treat the timber but also bring out the timbers natural colour. This has a UV filter to protect the timber but it does require regular upkeep. 2 – 4 times a year to keep it looking its best. Diamond Coating is more glossy but a lot harder wearing and only requires a top-up once a year, however, this depends on the weather and where the product is placed. These beautiful wooden tool racks are available blank, with standard engraving – which includes a name + TOOLS, or can be personalised with your choice of words or lettering.
